Health and social care organisations across the area are united in encouraging residents to take simple but effective steps to stay well and to help their NHS support those who need it most.

Cheshire East Council has been recognised for its work to encourage more walking, wheeling and cycling - with the success of its recently completed Southern Gateway scheme in Crewe helping to unlock funding.

Cheshire East residents are being encouraged to check the council’s website for changes to their bin collection schedule during the festive period.

A construction company that works closely with East Cheshire NHS Trust has generously donated a Christmas tree to Macclesfield Hospital for the second-year running.
