Two men have been charged with a drug dealing offence following a vehicle stop in Crewe.
John Collins, 32, and Stephen Lloyd, 33, were arrested in Lime Tree Avenue in the town at around 6pm on Wednesday 3 February.
They have both since been charged with possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
This relates to a large quantity of cannabis being seized by officers who stopped a van in Lime Tree Avenue that day.
Collins, of Warmingham Lane, Middlewich; and Lloyd, of Weaver View, Church Minshull, near Nantwich; appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 February.
They were both remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 5 March.
