Over the past week, we have received a couple of reports of lead flashing being stolen from buildings that are not currently in use.
| We will continue to check on properties that are in our rural communities however please remain vigilant and report any activity on 101 or 999 for a crime in progress. Livestock attacks and sheep worrying – Incidents of this nature are continuing to be reported. These are extremely distressing situations for all parties involved. Most ewes are “in lamb” at the moment and when they are chased they can often lose the lamb they are carrying. Please help spread the message that dogs must be kept under control around livestock. Under control means that your dog will walk by your side along the footpath and has a good recall. Thank you to all those owners that are behaving responsibly. GPS Domes – There has been a report of a GPS Dome being stolen from a New Holland tractor from the Northwich area. These are an essential piece of equipment for farms so please remain vigilant and report anything of concern to us. No Cold Callers initiative – The no cold calling initiative has been started this week. This has been set up to give farmer’s protection from cold callers. If you would like to join or any further information please get in touch on :- no.cold.callers@cheshire.pnn.police.uk |
