Police appeal following serious collision in Crewe

Police are appealing for information from the public following a serious collision in Crewe.

At around 8.30pm on Friday 28th November, police received reports of a single vehicle collision on Eardswick Lane in Crewe.

The collision involved an ambulance, which is believed to have been responding to an emergency call on blue lights.

Three North West Ambulance staff members were injured as a result of the collision and taken to Royal Stoke Hospital for treatment.

Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to contact Cheshire Police.

Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:

“Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and we are doing all we can to establish what took place.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any video footage which may aid our investigation.”
