The Mayor of Knutsford Peter Coan is sharing his passion for local beers and ales this October by hosting a beer tasting evening at local craft beer venue Dexter & Jones.
The Mayor is inviting you to join him for an evening of sours, stouts and sharing platters, where you will have the opportunity to taste 5 x 1/3 pints and be guided through some of the beers Dexter and Jones offer whilst raising funds for the Mayors charities along the way!
This year’s Mayor’s charities will be continued support to develop a Knutsford Men’s Shed, a community space for men to connect, converse and create alongside Knutsford GROW, which brings together two groups of people for mutual benefit; providing gardening services for people not able to tend their own gardens and providing opportunities for volunteers to deliver a community service.
Peter is keen to welcome as many people as possible to this event, saying “This is set to be a great event, with the opportunity to try some interesting and unique beers in a brilliant local venue, and even better that we get to raise some money for local charities!”
The event is taking place on Thursday 5th October at 7pm.
