Details published for the town's multi-million pound scheme on council web site.
The masterplan for Weavers Square in Northwich has been launched by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The regeneration scheme puts forward proposals for a new public square, up to 160 homes and small shops. The multi-million pound development would also include a public services hub, and a food hall which appears to be modeled after the successful Altrincham Market.
The reveal forms the starts of a public consultation into the ideas put forward for Weaver Square's future and the public are being encouraged to view the plans and have their say.
Cheshire West and Chester Council's Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Infrastructure, Councillor Brian Clarke, said: "I'm sure local people are going to be delighted when they see the new plans for Weaver Square which builds on the consultation we had in 2016.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a really special showcase area for our town. I would encourage everyone to get involved and have their say."
The project would continue a series of heavy investments in the town after the £20 million new Waitrose and marina in 2013, the £15 million Memorial Court entertainment and leisure centre, and the controversial £80 million pound Barons Quay retail complex.
