A man who was arrested following a pursuit in Sandbach has now been charged.
At around 4pm on Thursday 23rd October, officers from the Roads and Crime unit attempted to stop a black Nissan Qashqai on Congleton Road, in Sandbach.
The vehicle failed to stop, and officer pursued the vehicle as it travelled through Sandbach town centre towards Betchton, where it came to a stop and a 28-year-old man was arrested.
Following questioning, Francis Morris has been charged with driving without insurance, failing to stop for officers, driving without a licence and dangerous driving.
Morris, of no fixed abode, Alsager, has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Saturday 25th October.
