Detectives investigating a stabbing outside a gym in Northwich have arrested a man in relation to the incident.
Shortly after 7pm on Thursday 23 September police were called to reports of an incident outside Pure Gym on Leicester Street.
Officers attended the scene and found that a 20-year-old man from Winsford had been stabbed.
The man was taken to Aintree hospital for treatment and is now recovering at home.
Following enquires officers have now arrested a 47-year-old man from Wigan in relation to the incident.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being questioned by officers in police custody.
