To mark the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this Friday (September 27), Redrow will be holding events across all of its developments in Cheshire.
Residents and local communities are invited to attend for refreshments and cakes in return for a small donation to the Macmillan charity.
Coffee mornings will be held at the following developments, from 10am – 2pm:
- Redrow Hartford, Hartford, near Northwich
- King’s Moat Garden Village, Chester
- Ledsham Garden Village, Little Sutton
- Tabley Park, Knutsford
- Woodford Garden Village, near Stockport
- Daresbury Garden Village, near Warrington
- Round Hill Gardens, Congleton
Every penny raised will help the charity to be right there for people living with cancer and to bring everyone together.
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow North West, said:
“We will be holding events across all our developments in Cheshire, everyone is welcome, and entry is free,”
“The team will be pulling together some terrific treats, all we ask is for in return is a donation back to this amazing charity.”
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990 and was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, Macmillan did it again the following year but this time they did it on a national scale.
