Cheshire East Council is urgently looking to recruit more personal assistants (PAs) to support individuals in the community.
As a PA, you will play a crucial role in helping people live their lives to the fullest and work directly with individuals, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs.
Caring experience is not essential, but PAs must have a passion for helping others along with a genuine desire to support individuals and empower them to live independently.
The ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively is also important and a commitment to providing consistent, dependable support along with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and work various shifts.
Councillor Jill Rhodes, chair of Cheshire East Council’s adults and health committee, said:
“We are committed to supporting individuals in our community to live independently and with dignity and are asking more residents to consider taking on the role of a PA.
“By becoming a PA in Cheshire East, you can contribute to this important work, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to consider this fulfilling career opportunity.
“Whether it's assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying them on outings, or simply offering companionship, your role will make a significant impact.”
