Appeal to trace missing man from Macclesfield

Police searching for a missing man from Macclesfield are appealing for help from the public in locating him.

Nicholas Flood, 51, was reported missing on Monday 13 May. He was last seen at around 6.30am on Friday 3 May in the Victoria Road area of Macclesfield.

He is described as white, around 6’ tall, of a slim build, and has black and grey hair which may be worn in a bun, and a beard.

It is believed he could have travelled to Macclesfield Forest or Castleton. He has previously been known to frequent the Denton area of Manchester. 

Officers are urging anyone who sees Nicholas or has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

Inspector Josh Jones, said:

“We have been conducting a number of enquiries to trace Nicholas and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Nicholas since he was last spotted to get in touch with us.

“The same goes for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or CCTV or dashcam footage of him.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Nicholas; please let us know you are OK.”
