Police are appealing for information from the public to trace a missing woman from Macclesfield.
Rebecca Heath was reported missing to police on Friday 25 August, after she was last seen leaving an address in Timber Street at around 6.15am on Wednesday 23 August.
The 48-year-old was later spotted on CCTV entering Macclesfield Train Station at around 7.20am that morning.
It is believed she may have travelled to Glasgow, Leeds, or Stoke.
Rebecca is described as 5’ 3” with grey hair, and was seen wearing a blue denim jacket under a grey jacket, a knee-length floaty dress, tights/leggings, and black trainers. She had a number of bags with her.
As part of their enquiries, officers are urging anyone who sees Rebecca or has any information regarding her whereabouts to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Whittaker said:
“It has now been more than two weeks since Rebecca was last seen and officers are becoming increasingly concerned.
“Enquiries to locate her have been ongoing since her disappearance and as part of our investigation into the whereabouts of Rebecca, we would like to appeal to members of the public to get in touch with us if they believe they have seen her.
“We would also like to appeal directly to Rebecca to contact us."
