A lively atmosphere and a team of volunteer repairers who fix anything from bikes, electrical gadgets, gardening tools, cooking equipment and vacuum cleaners to textiles, rucksacks and clothing. The idea is to save things going to landfill and co2 emissions.
The cafe is also a cafe! We serve fantastic home made cake, tea and fresh ground coffees. All of this is free. We encourage people to donate what they can, but all our volunteers work for nothing.
The cafe is on Valentines Day 14th Feb and every second Saturday of the month from 10am until 2pm at the community centre on Duke St.
